The Ninth Annual Faron Frey Scholarship basket fundraiser for Nice Valley Excessive Faculty\u2019s soccer program is Sept. 24 at Indian Mountain Rod and Gun Membership. The basket raffle will begin at midday and winners chosen at 4 p.m.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn June of 2014 when most cancers took Faron Frey, the Nice Valley soccer program and the group misplaced a pricey good friend, \u201d stated Judy Neill.<\/p>\n

Frey was her husband\u2019s greatest good friend they usually needed to do one thing to honor the person who was such a giant a part of the soccer program.<\/p>\n

\u201cHe was such an unimaginable younger man and we didn\u2019t wish to simply, you already know, let it simply go by the wayside. We needed to do one thing to have the ability to keep in mind him. He was so supportive of Nice Valley soccer and he by no means missed a recreation, even when he was sick with most cancers.\u201d she stated.<\/p>\n

Neill began the Okay Fund Memorial Scholarship at Nice Valley the 12 months he died.<\/p>\n

The recipient every year is a senior soccer participant who exemplifies his values and work ethic. The recipient is chosen by the teaching employees and the PVHS Scholarship Committee.<\/p>\n

Neill stated they’ve given out eight scholarships because the program began.<\/p>\n
