LAPSA Information:

The Los Alamos Public Security Affiliation (LAPSA) has acknowledged Alexander Suazo as its 2022 LAPSA Scholarship recipient. Los Alamos Police Cmdr. and LAPSA Treasurer Daniel Roberts offered Suazo  with the award on the group’s October assembly. The $500 scholarship is awarded yearly.

Northern New Mexico residents pursuing levels in felony justice, fireplace science, emergency administration or emergency medical providers on the College of New Mexico-Los Alamos are eligible to use. Scholarship funds are paid towards tuition prices for chosen college students.

Suazo is learning Hearth Science and anticipates acquiring his diploma in fall 2023. He selected to proceed his training due to his ardour for firefighting and his want to equip himself to function a frontrunner in his discipline. Along with his coursework, Suazo is a firefighter with the Metropolis of Española Hearth Division and has 12 years of service as a volunteer firefighter with the Santa Clara Pueblo Hearth Division. His future aspirations embrace rising fireplace prevention sources and consciousness in his group.
