CANTON — Ten St. Lawrence County members of the category of 2023 have been just lately named as recipients of the Northern New York Group Basis Evergreen STEM Scholarship.

College students are awarded the scholarship resulting from their curiosity and intent to check in a science, know-how, engineering, or arithmetic discipline whereas in school. Mrs. Hosier is a retired English trainer who spent 33 years instructing within the Port Byron College District, and Bruce Owens is a retired electrical engineer who spent almost 35 years working as an engineer for international plane producer Boeing.
