Ohio State’s School of Pharmacy introduced a brand new scholarship to honor the work of remedy security outreach program Technology Rx and its program co-founder Nicole Kwiek Jan. 9.
In response to a press launch from the School of Pharmacy, the Nicole C. Kwiek Scholarship for Well being Sciences Outreach and Training can be awarded yearly by Technology Rx to pharmacy college students who present a dedication to neighborhood outreach selling well being science training or remedy security.
The formal scholarship announcement got here at Technology Rx’s 15-year celebration. Since its inception in 2007, Technology Rx has delivered over 70 age-specific remedy security sources to greater than 3 million folks throughout all 50 states, based on the discharge.
Brittany Sandidge, program director of Technology Rx, stated the scholarship honors Kwiek’s dedication to offering sources to those that want them.

Sandidge stated each undergraduate and graduate degree college students can be eligible, and awards can be decided within the fall 2023.

Sandidge stated the scholarship is a product of the dear partnership between Technology Rx and Ohio State’s pupil physique.
